No. Omnisend's pricing page defaults to a 3-month prepay promo: 30% off, first upgrade only, once per account, on rolling 30-day cycles from your upgrade date, not calendar months. At the entry tier that promo is $11.20/mo; the list price it reverts to after 3 months is $16.00/mo. Every price on this page other than the promo callouts is the list price, and the list figures above the entry tier are derived by dividing the verified promo price by 0.70, stated as such next to the table.
Omnisend does not publish a per-email overage rate. What its own documentation states is that the billing bracket adjusts automatically at renewal without a confirmation step, and a mid-cycle upgrade credits a full month’s allocation right away. OnVoard states this plainly: below Unlimited, extra sends are $1 per 1,000 from a balance you top up; at Unlimited, there is nothing to run out of.
No, unsubscribed contacts are not billed. Non-subscribed contacts are different and ARE billable: Omnisend can still send them transactional automations (an abandoned cart email, an order confirmation, a shipping update), so they still count toward your bracket even without marketing consent.
Yes. Up to 250 contacts and 500 email sends a month, free. OnVoard’s paid plans start above that; if your list is genuinely that small, take whichever free plan you prefer.
No. Omnisend publishes no annual plan at all, self-serve or otherwise. The only discount on the self-serve ladder is the 3-month prepay promo described above, and it is time-limited rather than a standing annual rate.
2 things. First, contacts and sends are 2 separate, adjustable settings on every plan, not something that flips to unlimited only once you clear a contact threshold. Second, Omnisend’s price only ever buys email (plus SMS and push); OnVoard’s All-In-One price is the same 2 settings plus every other OnVoard app, for a contact-rate premium instead of separate bills.
