Email marketing platforms, compared head to head

Two named platforms at a time, priced from their own published ladders at the same contacts and the same send volume. No starting prices, no promo rate set against a list price, and every figure traceable to the page it was read from.

Vendor pricing last checked September 7, 2026. Every vendor sets its own prices and can change them any time.

At 10,000 contacts and 20,000 emails a month
Klaviyo$150/mo
Mailchimp$85.38/mo
Omnisend$132/mo
MailerLite$89/mo
OnVoard Marketing Platform$35/mo

Monthly list pricing, resolved from each vendor's own published ladder. Change the workload on any page below and every figure recomputes.

The shape of the bill

All five, as your list grows

One line per platform, every point resolved by the same pricing engine every page below runs. Switch a vendor off in the legend to read two of them against each other.

$0$200$400$600$8001k11k21k30k40k50kContacts10kKlaviyoOmnisendMailerLiteMailchimpOnVoard
$0$200$400$600$8001k26k50kContacts10k

The dotted line marks 10,000 contacts, and each price beside a vendor above is that vendor at that point. Lines show the monthly list price at 2 emails per contact a month. A line that stops has run past that vendor’s own published ladder; nothing here is extrapolated. Open any page below to price the same ladders at your own contacts and send volume.

How they work

What every page in this set does, and does not, compare

  1. One workload, every vendorThe same contacts and the same monthly send volume go into every vendor’s own pricing rules. Nobody is compared with less email included than anyone else.
  2. List price against list priceA promotional rate is shown labelled, next to the price it reverts to, and never used to decide which platform is cheaper.
  3. Price, not feature equivalenceThese pages compare what each platform charges. Plans differ on automation, segmentation, SMS and support, and every page says where a competitor is genuinely the better buy.

Methodology

How every page in this set was built

Every price across this cluster comes from a vendor's own published, list-basis pricing, matched to the exact billing interval requested (monthly compared to monthly, never monthly to annual). A vendor beyond its own published contact ladder is marked contact sales rather than extrapolated, and anything we could not verify is left off rather than guessed.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which comparison should I read first?

If you already pay one of these platforms, start with its own pricing page: it shows the full ladder and prices your workload against OnVoard. If you are choosing between two you do not use yet, read the head-to-head. If you are leaving one and want the realistic replacements, read its alternatives page.

Why are there only four platforms?

A platform only appears once its whole published ladder has been captured and independently verified in US dollars. One vendor was removed rather than shown after its ladder turned out to be captured in another currency, because a comparison with one side in the wrong currency is not a comparison, it is a wrong number.

Do these pages compare features as well as price?

They compare price, and they say so. Every page carries a section on where the competitor is genuinely the better buy, and any feature difference stated is one we could verify. Plans differ on automation, segmentation, SMS and support, and price alone will not tell you which suits you.
